Optical (Light)
Sensor:

Example of inserting
a link wire to a
diagnositc connector to start a Check
Light flashing on the dash and using
the CodeReader Optical (light) sensor
to AUTOMATICALLY send
the codes
to the PC or Handheld for decoding.
95% of Japanese
& Korean (Japanese and Korean) vehicles from 1983 to today
(2005) are able to give their fault / trouble code information
on either a Check Light (such as the Check Engine, ABS, Transmission
or Airbag Dash light) or an LED/s on a vehicle computer. The
patent pending Rennacs CodeReader Optical (light) sensor is
able to directly and accurately read both the Dash Check Lights
and the LED's on vehicle computers.
Wire Clips:

For vehicles that
do not have a Check Light or LED (for Engine, Trans, ABS or
Airbags etc). Simply push in the correct sized loose terminals
(provided) and clip the Wire Clip (aligator clips) onto the
terminals. The Wire Clips are not polarity sensitive (ie:
you can connect them either way round). They are also optically
coupled to the Handheld, so that both the vehicle and the
Handheld are completed electrically protected.
