(3). USB 10 Meter Cable
Ten meter long USB interface cable between your PC and
either the Optical Sensor with Black Cloth Cover (1)
or the Red Wire Clips (2) that connect to the vehicle under
test.
(4). CodeReader PC Manual
Please note, this manual is built into the CodeReader
program, and you can print a paper copy as shown. It has detailed
explanation and instructions of how to use the CodeReader.
(6). Loose Terminals
Used to push onto or into the diagnostic connector to
safetly connect the Wire Cable (2).
(7). Coloured Wire Links
Used to put the vehicle into diagnostic mode. The Red wire links
are are used 95% of the time on Asian vehicles. They have an internal
resistor built in to ensure they are completely safe to insert to
the diagnostic connector.
(8). Magnetic Strip and Metal Bracket
Used to correctly position the Optical Sensor (1) over the LED's
on vehicle computers
(9). Black Jumper Wire
Used with the Loose Terminals (6) to ground some vehicle diagnostic
connector pins to put the vehicle into diagnostic mode.
(10). CodeReader Carry Case
Contains all of the above components in one sturdy unit.
Case may vary from the one shown.
* SOFTWARE. You can choose between EFI Petrol, EFI
Diesel, ABS, Automatic Transmission or Airbag software modules.
You need to purchase at least one of the above software modules
with the CodeReader Vehicle Connection Hardware.
